I am lonely, dark waves on the ocean.
I am a heart glued back together.
I am a cyclist, unhindered by cars.
I am a cave, empty yet deep.
I am the mother figure to a dog.
I am the soulmate to a lost soul.
I am a breath of fresh air in sadness.
I am pale and cold like snow.
I am no one's love.
I am long hair and sad eyes.
I am humor and sarcasm.
I am a volunteer, loyal and proven.
I am silent, the wings to an owl.
I am a wolf, howling for the lost love.
I am a whisper, quiet and soon gone.
I am nothing, and yet I loved.
Amanda! It was great to get to know you! You were so poetic in your poem, especially the line, "I am silent, the wings to an owl". Great job!
ReplyDeleteHiya Amanda! Your poem really goes into your personality, and it shows what kind of person you are. I like the lines of "mother figure to a dog" and "volunteer, loyal and proven". Being in creative writing with you is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love the comparison to a cave and your words "loyal and proven" to describe you as a volunteer.
ReplyDelete"I am a cave, empty yet deep." This is a really good line. I love the way you describe yourself with such detail. Right on!
